NEWAVX Research Makes Waves at ECSS Lausanne 2026
Our research team presented new findings on NEWAVX Vortex Wave Stimulation (VWS) at the 31st Annual Congress of the European College of Sport Science an important international forum for sport and exercise research.
The preliminary study in older adults found that NEWAVX VWS increased muscle activity during treatment and enhanced myofibrillar protein synthesis following two sessions. These encouraging responses point to potential future applications for people who find conventional resistance exercise difficult or impossible.
The findings generated considerable interest, with NEWAVX technology even described as a possible “miracle therapy.”While the phrase reflects the excitement surrounding its potential, the science remains at an early stage. This was a small exploratory study, and larger controlled trials are needed to determine whether NEWAVX VWS can improve strength, mobility and long-term muscle health.

NEWAVX Earns National Recognition with Selection for Prestigious UK Deep Tech Showcase
NEWAVX is proud to announce its national selection for both the DeepTech Showcase and Midlands Spinout Showcase at the inaugural UK Global R&D and Science Investment Summit 2026.
Held at the Royal Society in London during London Tech Week, the Summit brought together more than 2,000 delegates from 67 countries, including leading global investors, policymakers and research partners.
Addressed by Lord Patrick Vallance, Minister of State for Science, Innovation, Research and Nuclear, the event provided NEWAVX with a prestigious international platform to present its pioneering Vortex Wave technology and represent the strength of deep-tech innovation emerging from the Midlands.

NEWAVX was selected to present at BioTrinity London, one of the UK’s leading life sciences investment conferences, alongside other Series A-stage companies.
The presentation introduced NEWAVX’s Artificial Gravity Engine and the emerging human evidence behind Vortex Wave Stimulation to an audience of investors, industry leaders and life sciences partners.

NEWAVX Secures £150,000 Grant from West Midlands Health Tech Innovation Accelerator
